Taunter the Evil Squirrel!!!!

Is it just me or are squirrels starting to over run Pittsburg?  And they are getting a tad to friendly for my taste.  As summer has arrived I am trying to get into a routine.  I am striving to get up by 8:00-8:30 in the morning and head straight to the YMCA. Now that song is stuck in my head.  I come back home and have my God time then I get ready to face the rest of my day.....whatever that may hold.  Today I had a pretty long list of errands so I was trying to be on task.  I gathered up everything I needed, to do list, purse and my car keys and headed out my back door. I step outside the door and a squirrel runs right across my foot.  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!  What the?  What was he thinking?  Was he trying to give me a heart attack?  I am all about being friendly but jumping out at me and running across my foot was a bit much.  Then he is just sitting up in the tree and you know what?..........I think he was mocking me!  I think he enjoyed scaring the poop out of me.  Yeah, he is just sitting up there enjoying his nut and laughing at me while I am trying to get my breath back.  I will get my revenge Squirrel!  I will name you Taunter the evil squirrel.

Turning a new page

It has been a long time since I have written anything on this blog. I have decided that it is time to turn a new page in this blogs book and try my best to keep it updated. Let's see since my last blog I had major surgery on my neck...no biggie, a little donor bone, a metal plate a few screws super close to my spinal cord. And my neck is good as new, Thank you God for such a miracle. Then, few months in a very fashionable brace that was never uncomfortable or itchy. After that I had another major surgery to get a new ACL in my knee. No sweat, a wheel chair, crutches and I lost count of how many braces and months of rehab and it is almost back to normal. I thank God for that as well because I know that without Him I never would have made it through.

School is out for the SUMMER! Woo Hoo! I would just like to say that this was the hardest school year I have ever had and I am glad to see it come to an end. I am ready to chalk it up to me still recovering physically and move on. I am hoping for great things for the next school year.

I am super excited about leaving for Omaha this weekend and promise I will tell all about it when I get back. I am writing like I think someone is actually going to be reading this, which is kind of making me chuckle a little bit to myself.
